The research unit responsible for BKD’s digital implementation is located at the Digital Academy, a department within the Academy of Sciences and Literature | Mainz.

Martin Buber Archive
The NLI houses the Martin Buber Archive and has digitized his entire collection of correspondence. It also holds the estates of other prominent German-Jewish intellectuals with whom Buber corresponded, which serve as important sources for e BKD.

Abigail Gillman is a Professor of Hebrew, German and Comparative Literature and, as a project partner, is involved in organizing international conferences and providing external supervision for dissertations related to BKD.
